The Pharmacy W.Sand Lake Rd Restaurant Row
Good food and buzzy atmosphere. It’s a tiny, crowded, Speakeasy style place. Find the secret elevator door. Press the button and step straight into the bar. Great for sharing dishes with crafted cocktails or a few glasses of wine and fab. pizza. Super cool – if you can find it!

Shades of Nobu here. Sparkling fresh modern take on Sushi at the bar, or modern Japanese inspired menu in the dining area or deck. Not the cheapest but consistently excellent food.

Cafe Tu Tu Tango International Drive
Buzzy quirky place with interesting tapas menu. Very noisy inside but the deck is relaxed and quiet. You can’t miss it, it looks like a Gaudi fan designed it Expect a belly dancer, tarot reader, fire eater, artists galore. Weird and wonderful and surprisingly good food. Try the spicy margarita. We like to walk here (45 minutes) and eat outside.
Bahama Breeze International Drive
Family favorite! Good cocktails, food and atmosphere. Firecracker shrimp and Jamaican wings are great to start. Large outside deck with live music. We hide on the far end of the deck away from the band for a peaceful outside spot for 2. Gets super busy in convention season. They only take bookings for later tables.

The Yellow Dog Eats 1236 Hempel Ave, Windermere, FL 34786
Funky little house in the middle of residential neighborhood. Not a tourist destination, only locals and those in the know. Slow smoked BBQ is the speciality and you can enjoy it inside or in the cute, crazy paved, graffiti decorated garden while you watch the neighbor’s chickens pecking around the parking lot. Local micro brewed beers and house style wines. No liquor license. Highly recommended for lunch or late afternoon (substantial) snack. Definitely go hungry. We love this quirky spot! 20 mins from here.
