Teens will love Horror Nights at Universal in the fall.

Foodies will salivate at the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot.

Our water parks offer something for thrill seekers or just a relaxing day at the ‘beach’ while at Discovery Cove the opportunity of a lifetime – to swim with dolphins, walk the bottom of the ocean (not quite real but who’s quibbling), snorkel with tropical fish and, safely, with sharks.

Looking for a low cost, fun and even educational day – Gatorland, an Orlando institution from the 1950s has hundreds of alligators, birds, reptiles a petting zoo and the sweet experience of feeding a multitude of tiny neon colored budgies from your hand.

Seaworld is also affordable with great roller coasters and many interactive areas where you can watch a dolphin show or pet baby dolphins, feed Rays or walk thru a shark tunnel.

Just down the road from Vista Cay is Icon Park where you can get your bearings on the 400 ft tall Orlando Wheel (formerly the Orlando Eye), ride the StarFlyer or get flung from a giant slingshot.

We host major sport events and top global music acts at the Amway Arena and with the 2nd largest convention center in the US we have year round conventions and events right next door to Vista Cay and, in many cases, walking distance.

There are year round festivals… strawberry, blueberry, seafood, arts,..Golf events, not to mention 34 world class golf courses within 30 minutes of Orlando – and good antiquing in Sanford and Mt. Dora.

For rainy days you might take the kids to the Crayola Experience at the Florida Mall or the Science Center downtown. Almost walking distance from us is Top Golf and Andretti indoor Go Karting and Games.

Everything above is close by and easily reached with a short Uber drive, including the airport only 15 minutes away.

If you have a car and plan to explore further, the Atlantic beaches and the Kennedy Space Center are both just 1 hour and 1 road East of us. The soft white sands and warm, emerald waters of the Gulf Coast are just 2 hours West.

You could take an airboat ride then suit up and swim with the Manatees (Nov to Feb) on the Crystal River or spend a day hiking and picnicking in Wekiwa Springs State park, just 40 mins away.

And this is just quick overview…Orlando constantly renews itself, so every time you return there will be fun, new and exciting things to do. Come and experience Orlando soon!
